The Return

The captivating, fun, exciting spirit that came to be known as "Beatlemania" is alive again in the Return-the world's most authentic and entertaining Beatles tribute band. These four lads, all in their early to mid-twenties, have carefully and skillfully recreated the Beatles experience by not only performing all the great songs of the original four, but also by sporting the same suits, boots, mop-tops, musical instruments, and gear. The Return make it possible for music fans from every generation to experience the same thrilling rush felt by fans who were fortunate enough to attend an actual Beatles concert in the early sixties.

"...It was quite fun to watch them and imagine what it must have
been like at an actual Beatles concert all those years ago!"
Tony Perkins - Good Morning America

The Return certainly have a passion for music and will always enjoy playing the songs of the "Fab Four."However, what makes them unique among the hundreds of Beatles tribute ba+nds today is their unwavering dedication to ensuring the utmost level of authenticity in their performances. And so, it is not surprising that people are consistently dazzled by their close likeness to the originals. Same energy. Same charisma. Same feeling.

"There are moments when it's hard to believe
you're not watching the Beatles!"
Creative Loafing - Atlanta

As the most authentic Beatles tribute band in the world, the Return performs a song list packed with all the fun and lively tunes the Beatles played while touring. From the Cavern Club days in their hometown of Liverpool, to their last concert performance together at Candlestick Park in 1966-the Return concert is more than reminiscent of a Beatles concert, it's as close to the real thing as you can get.

The Sun Kings repertoire contains over 100 Beatles songs spanning The Beatles entire musical career from “She Loves You” to “I am the Walrus” to Side 2 of Abbey Road.

Christina Trillo

pic

After a surprising debut at the first Beatles Fest West, Christina Trillo is returning to San Francisco to be a part of the second Beatles Fest West weekend. Reviews from last year told the story, Jude Kessler for www.Beatlesnews.com wrote:

But the surprise gem of the day was 17-year-old Christina Trillo whose bluesy, gutsy, cutting-edge rendition of Beatles and Lennon standards gives them a 2000's twist. On the same weekend Steve Marinucci from www.Examiner.com wrote: Another performer who was getting great word of mouth -- and with good reason -- was Christina Trillo.

The following month www.i-bfd.com named Christina artist of the month for her debut saying: Trillo: is an 18 year old singer from southern California with an incredible voice and flare for singing Beatles songs. Christina recently wowed the crowds at Beatles Fest West with vocal talents.

Christina, along with her arranger Rick Olson will once again be performing over the Beatles Fest West 2010 weekend  a tribute to John Lennon and a mixed bag of Beatles tunes and Fab Four solo covers.

There will also be Christina's CD's on sale all weekend long and she will be on hand to chat with all the Beatles fans who will be in San Francisco for what is sure to be a Fabulous Weekend.

Beatles Project

pic

The Beatles Project is here to play Beatles songs and make them sound as much like the records as they can. We like it best when the audience joins in by clapping, singing and dancing along while the band plays. They don't try to look and talk like the Beatles. Simply put ... it's all about the music!

The Beatles Project hails from Merced California and has spent countless hours of rehearsal and research to make the musical nuances and vocal reproductions of The Beatle's music sound authentic. It might be a lot like the way a conductor, symphony or chamber orchestra would approach a piece by Bach or Mozart but its whole lot more fun! Judging from the success of our concerts and the number of enthusiastic returning fans to the shows, the Beatles Project has found its niche.

The Beatles only toured the United States a handful of times; and when they stopped touring, much of their work had never been performed live as they only played about ten songs on each tour. Vast numbers of Beatle fans didn't have the opportunity to see or hear the group; and those that did, heard a pretty limited portion of their recorded repertoire.

The Beatles Project is dedicated to the live production of The Beatles’ music so the listener may get close to experiencing what it might have sounded like when performed by the original band. This would include their catalogue of songs that were never performed after being recorded and pressed for release.

The band uses digital instruments and systems that reproduce the voicings of the Beatles’ various instruments on the original recordings.

There is a video production in the background during our show that features film clips of the Beatles and light show effects mixed with live shots of the on-going performance to augment and enhance the audience experience.

The Beatles Project is Tom Clarkson (guitar, vocals, and harmonica), Anthony Parber (Bass, guitar, harmonica, and vocals), Tom Salles (guitar, keyboard, and vocals) Phillip Madayag (drums and vocals) and Alan Yagi (keyboards and flute).

The Cryers

pic

Influenced by '60/'70s rock & roll, The Cryers are a classic rock/americana band based in NJ/NY area. We regularly tour the U.S./Canada performing originals & classic rock hits. Opening for bands like The Pete Best Band, Chad & Jeremy, Peter & Gordon. Backing legendary rockers such as Denny Laine & Laurence Juber/Wings, Terry Sylvester/The Hollies, Joey Molland/Badfinger.

More About The Cryers
THE CRYERS have been performing since 1991, throughout the U.S.A. & Canada, as well as their home base of NJ/NY. The band's sound is based deep within the roots of Rock 'n Roll. It features a solid beat, captivating harmonies, and powerfully written songs. Along with their original material, the band performs with gutsy exuberance, tunes from the vast archives of Rock 'n Roll, breathing new life into timeless classics as well as contemporary songs from the cutting edge. Sid Berstein, the man responsible for bringing the Beatles to America, calls this band “Magical!”

The band's unique “rootsy” sound originates from the songwriting talents of bassist/vocalist Joe Orlando and guitarist/vocalist Jeff Brown. They are dynamically supported by keyboardist/vocalist Belle Liao and drummer Tommy Seesellberg. Orlando’s powerful, soothing voice and melodic bass lines, influenced by the early days of Rock 'n Roll, are complimented nicely by Brown’s seasoned vocals and gritty guitar sound chiseled from the Rock 'n Roll bedrock of the 60’s and 70’s. Liao’s sweet harmonies and classically trained keys are the icing on top, and the hard rockin’ beat of Seesselberg, drives the sound home with one of the strongest two and fours in the business, honed from his days on the road performing with Rock Star Legends.

The Cryers have performed at premiere venues such as the The Rams Head in Annapolis, Maryland, The Cutting Room in New York, New York, Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center, Glen Allen, Virginia, Westside Concert Theater in Hamilton, Ontario, Buskirk-Chumley Theater, Bloomington, Indiana, Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey, Manasquan's Algonquin Arts Theatre, the Brookdale Performing Arts Center, as well as other numerous concert venues, casino’s and events around the continent.

In addition to their own performance schedule, The Cryers can be seen performing Top 40 hits with headlining acts such as Denny Laine founder of The Moody Blues and original member of Wings, Terry Sylvester formerly of The Hollies and Ian Mitchell of The Bay City Rollers. The band has toured or performed with many notable musicians, including The Pete Best Band, Laurence Juber, world class fingerstylist and former Wings lead guitarist, Jefferson Starship, Chad & Jeremy, Peter & Gordon, Indie singer/songwriter Vienna Teng, Joey Molland of Badfinger, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Billy J. Kramer, Connie Francis, Gary Lewis & the Playboys, Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere & the Raiders, The Tokens, Bobby Lewis, The Platters, The Coasters, The Drifters and more.

In 2007, the band released their self-titled CD “The Cryers” to rave reviews, and are currently working on their sophomore effort. You can follow the band's current happening’s at (www.myspace.com/thecryersrockon).

Cryers Joe Orlando and Belle Liao also co-own the Monmouth Academy of Musical Arts (www.monmouthacademy.com). Not only is the Academy a place of musical education, it boasts a state-of-the-art recording studio and an intimate 80 seat Recital Hall where The Cryers host their signature "Living Room" concerts.

In keeping with the core philosophy of The Cryers, Love, Joy, Peace and Purpose Through Music©, a portion of the Band's proceeds goes straight back to the Academy. Giving back to our global community, by teaching and promoting the love of music.
